Pomellato
Pomellato's History—From a Milanese Goldsmith Family to Ready-to-Wear Jewelry
In 1967, Pino Rabolini, born into a family of goldsmiths, founded Pomellato in Milan. At the time, fine jewelry was seen as a status symbol for special occasions, but Rabolini proposed something new: ready-to-wear jewelry, meant to be worn every day and changed like clothes. That idea changed the direction of contemporary jewelry and became the spirit of the house.
In the 1990s, Pomellato began using colored stones boldly, and in 1995 it launched Dodo, a second, younger and more playful brand. The Nudo collection, introduced in 2001, became the piece that put Pomellato on the international map. A generously cut colored stone set in rose gold, the Nudo ring is still the house's signature.
In 2013, Pomellato became part of the Kering group, and Pino Rabolini passed away in 2018. Today, the house continues to build on the goldsmithing tradition of Milan, with bold color and jewelry made to be worn every day.
What Our Customers Say About Selling Pomellato to ONE OF ONE
One customer asked around about selling a favorite Pomellato ring. Because the brand is a matter of taste, some places would not buy it or would not give a clear price. ONE OF ONE reviewed the piece, explained the process and the price in detail, and offered better terms than expected. The customer even found a new piece to buy while visiting.
Another customer bought an Iconica ring, but on the hand it felt thicker than expected and rarely got worn. Rather than keep it in a drawer, the customer asked about selling it. ONE OF ONE checked the condition of the ring and explained the process in detail.
A third customer received a Together ring as a gift, but the size no longer fit and it became hard to wear. Few places handle Pomellato, so the customer looked at several options. ONE OF ONE reviewed the piece carefully and explained the price and the process in detail, which made it easy to hand over.

ONE OF ONE's Insight
Pomellato rings often have thick, substantial bands, so they can feel thicker and heavier on the hand than they look in photos. We recommend trying a piece on in person and checking both the size and how it feels before you buy.
Pomellato Care Guide
How to Care for Your Pomellato Jewelry
Pomellato jewelry is made to be worn every day. A little care in how you wear, clean, and store it keeps the gold bright and the stones secure.
Daily Care Tips
Colored-stone rings such as Nudo can chip or scratch if they knock against hard surfaces, so wear them with care. Keep your jewelry away from water, perfume, cosmetics, and chlorinated pools, and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
Cleaning Your Pomellato Jewelry
Gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth. If dirt collects around a stone, avoid scrubbing it yourself and have the piece professionally checked instead.
Storage Recommendations
Store each piece separately so it does not rub against other jewelry.
Maintaining Long-Term Value
Keep the original box and documents if you have them, and have the piece checked periodically. Good condition and complete accessories help a piece hold its value when you decide to sell.
